ZED RELEASE NEW SINGLE - ‘WAITING GAME’ 

'Waiting Game' is the next release from ZED’s forthcoming album ‘Future Memory’. 

"Waiting game took a while to craft, initially I endeavoured to keep the whole song based around two chords as an exercise in simplicity .. but ultimately it wanted a harmonic shift to build and release some tension (6 minutes on two chords is a lot!), so ultimately I popped some relative minors in for colour and that did the trick.. Lyrically it’s about the cathartic process of letting go of an unbalanced relationship, and the peace that comes with the acceptance of moving on and being free. I love Zed’s interpretation of the song, Andy’s dreamy guitars, Age’s rolling rhythms .. and it was fun to experiment with singing the lead melody in unison with Nath to create a hybrid of our two voices, something we hadn’t really tried before. Hope you enjoy the track as much as we enjoyed making it!”  says bass player Ben Campbell.
